The Beauty’s of The Met Gala ’14

Image

The Met Gala Ball was yesterday evening and there were some best and well, worst dressed celebs. For those of you that do not know what the Met Gala is, it’s an annual ball in celebration of The Metropolitan Museum Fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute. Vogue magazine hosts the event and Anna Wintour is in charge of the guest list for the event. I’ll only be showing you the best dressed and the beauties that showed up at the Ball last night, because honestly thats all that really matters to me.Image

Rihanna wearing Stella McCartney

Riri looking stunning in a crop top and matching skirt at the Gala yesterday evening in McCartney’s collection. She has always been a risk taker with fashion and once again, she’s nailed it.

Blake Lively wearing Gucci Première

Lively looks breathtaking in this blush tone Gucci gown. I’m loving the silk and mermaid look to it and it shows of her body oh so well, no wonder husband Ryan Reynold’s couldn’t keep his off of her ass all night!

Cara Delevingne wearing Stella McCartney

Cara, Cara, Cara.. Forgetting the rules about wearing a gown to the ball I see? And I LOVE IT! Everything about this is perfection. Her hair is everything, Black crop top and white pants from again, McCartney. Things are changing in fashion and growing, and Cara proves that you do not have to stick to tradition of gowns.

Kristen Stewart wearing Chanel

Stewart looking flawless in this Chanel dress. Filled with black, gold, feathers, tulle and sequins, she rocks it down the Ball’s red carpet. Kristen pushes her style and red carpet looks, no wonder she was picked to be the face for Chanel.

Janelle Monae wearing Tadashi Shoji

Inspiring woman, risk-taking musician, and daring fashion muse to the world. Like Cara, Janelle took a risk at the Met and proved that times are changing in the fashion community, even at the most traditional events.
