Inspiration: Twin Power

Hello everyone! Okay, things are settling down a tad, not much, but a tad.. I am making my blog and creative side take more presence in my life, since this is what I want to do with my life. This weeks inspiration is the Olsen twinnies. These girls are extremely powerful, just with the way they hold themselves and they are complete leaders in the fashion world. The Row has taken off to be on of the best fashion brands around (hats off to you ladies) and then they also have the line Elizabeth and James. Now their style is minimalism meets grandpa look, which totally works for them, again hats off to you two for being so petite and being able to layer anything and everything you want to put on without looking like you got swallowed by a swamp – AKA what I would look like if I attempted so.

I wanted to thank real quick my current followers for sticking around even though I have not been very vocal on my blog for the past month or so. Love you all very very much, have a fantastical Monday, xoxo

Inspiration: The Power of Being You

Hello hello hello! Yes, I officially suck at running my blog… I can feel the shame and disappointment radiating from you fabulous followers!

Well thank goodness it’s Monday! I’m sure you guys are wondering why I am so lively and excited about a Monday, but I leave for the good ole’ LA on Thursday! If any of my followers are from LA, let me know! I’ll be at The Grove on Thursday and Santa Monica beach all day Saturday.

My inspiration for this week is being yourself. Be You. 100%. No doubts, no cares. Don’t worry about what people think of you. If you want to wear a palm tree on your head and unicorn sneakers, go for it. You will never be truly happy unless you are committed to being yourself. There’s so many outside forces nowadays that I notice many follow the crowd or trends and it breaks my heart. I’ll admit it, I was one of those at one point in my life.. Here I am talking like I have had 1,000 years of life on me HA! Finally one day, I promised myself no more of being someone I’m not.

Have an incredible week lovely’s! xoxo (p.s – I’ll be having an LA Diary up next week and a few more posts up this week before I leave!)

Inspiration: What You Wear, Is Who You Are

Yet another Monday goes by and I give you my weekly inspo to get you motivated or inspired throughout the week, at least I like to hope so. Yesterday I was at Comicon (Marvel lover over here!), and no I did not dress up, but if you do follow me on my social media sites you can see my boyfriend and I wore Captain American tees, awh so precious! I bought a print of Darth Vader in a suit and tie, and it is probably one of my most favorite pieces I own now. Who doesn’t love DV all classy and what not?

Now we all know on weekends or for special events, you bring out the best “you” you possibly can show off. What do you wear during the week though? I can tell you right now mine consists of work out clothes (not something you guys want to hear from a style blog, I know) and jeans/jean shorts and tees. Lately I have noticed my style has been evolving and just really realizing more and more of who I am and what my style taste ranges to. Minimalism has really been my go to lately and I am pretty sure it will be like that for a while.

Have a wonderful monday loves! xoxo

Good morning Monday! I apologize I have not been blogging daily for the past 2 weeks, things have been a little crazy outside of social media life and getting my office space done, it has been a very long process.. BUT I am here now and yes, another Monday Inspo post!

Now lately travel has been on my mind a lot, so it is only fair that I feature the lovely pleasures of traveling. In the next 6 months or so, I am hoping to be going on a trip every month or two to LA more and New York City. (more…)

Say Yes To A Blazer, Around Your Waist

Blazers are a classic and fantastic during winter months, but when heat rolls around, bye bye menswear staple. Consider wrapping your blazers around your waist like you would with your sweatshirts and tartan shirts during the summer months.

5 Reasons why you should

1. Useable during summer heat so your blazers that some are cheap and some not so cheap don’t have to collect cobwebs in your closet

2. Tartan shirts get really old and boring (no offense)

3. No plaid (again, no offense)

4. Covers your ass. Literally, covers it if your shorts are a little on the verge of being at a dance party instead of everyday use

5. And last but not least, a classic twist on a grungier look
